Boy's Volleyball

This year’s boy’s volleyball has brought together eight very different boys. They have pulled together as a team to win six out of thirteen games in the Westside league. Wishing for the best outcome for these team players, we watched as the boys played their hardest on the court. Although they did not make it to the play offs, they were very close. With a wide variety of players of freshman to a senior, the team consists of Michael Hudson, Colby Dundas, Brock McPhearson, Eric Jansen, Scott Menger, Eric Liebowitz, James Schatz, and Steven Lubin. The libera is Michael Hudson. Colby Dundas and Brock McPhearson are both opposites. Eric Jansen and Scott Menger are the outside hitters. The setter of the team is Eric Liebowitz. The middle blockers are James Schatz, and Steven Lubin. The coach of the team, Mr. Gutierrez, said, “We had a lot to be excited about and a few things to be disappointed in. Next year we should be the league favorites.”
